A few years ago I decided to leave the warm sun of Spain, and move to the Netherlands. I studied music, history of art and still I figured I didn’t know enough, so I completed a degree in European studies. All that knowledge was certainly valuable, but in the meanwhile I felt I had turned into a walking head. When I discovered the Alexander technique, my body and mind became one again. The technique touched me so deeply that I decided to become a certified teacher. After a 3 years course at the Alexander Techniek Centrum in Amsterdam, it was the moment to have my own practices in Utrecht and Amsterdam. Last summer I moved back to Spain and since then you can find me working in Madrid and Castilla y León. I have found my place María de Marcos |
